There's a balance, isn't there? I get this awesome job but have to put up with university bureaucracy at its finest. I get a fantastic chance to work on handwork on the bus each day but can't muster up the energy to work on anything. We have a terrific kid, but some pretty major and ongoing health issues with ourselves. I get the energy and motivation to start riding my bike again, but then my mystery medical problem starts up. I start "getting noticed" in the SCA, and being able to afford to play more, and my health keeps me from playing nearly as much as I like.

I'm sure all y'all are as sick of my whinging as I am of living through the cause of the whinging. Believe me, I'd much rather be not miserable.

I'd settle for a boring 6 months...
