aaah, K'berg, how I love you
Fun dinner out with the K'berg people - we ate at Med. Deli, close by, easy parking if you know how to get in to the super-secret lot next to the dry-cleaners, and we shut the place down. Good times. I'm much less cranky, thank you all!
Prior to escaping heading out of the house for the evening, I was definitely ms. crankypants, with a hissing cat, growling dog, clingy child with his first homework, and still-sick husband. I fed them, I helped with homework, I put the boy to bed, and then I bugged out took off stepped out briefly.

Oh, and I got a (single) fig off of my fig tree!! 8 years I've had that thing, and every year SOMETHING happens to it - it gets eaten by deer, usually, but this year I got a fig! It's ripening under the cake dome. Yum.
