I hope this is mostly fiction, but somehow I doubt it. I think that next year is going to be very nasty for the average joe in this world.
In other news, I'm in a fight between my mom's landlord and the City of Durham - the first water bill was $214.82, for 10 days. The City says that there is 'movement in the dial', which indicates a leak, but the landlord says they checked everything and there was no leak. They say they'll check again, but I do not have a good feeling about it. I still need a plumber for my own house, and if I have to find one for my mom's, which the landlord is supposed to do, I'm going to be very unhappy.
Paperwork sucks. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
And in other news, I still dislike xmas, and really hate trying to get gifts for people.
Baronial and Kingdom politics are getting annoying. First, Chow got at least 10 phone calls while we were on our anniversary trip, some of them taking up to an hour, about our possible suspension. Now all of the Orders are in a state of upset by a rule change. This is not the game I signed up for. :( I'm not giving out opinions on any of these issues, because while yes, they're important, at the moment they're just not important to me. I have other things to worry about, sorry.
