Steve short update
I still love Steve, in part for what just happened.
He's watching baseball, because today is Opening Day.
A commercial came on. It was shampoo. And it featured two women getting ready for a date. With each other.
He turned to me and said "Huh. Did you see that? That commercial had two women kissing!" He was floored.
I told him "Oh, that's normal now. Commercials portray gay people all the time."
Without a blink he looked back at the TV with a smile and said "Well. That's good"

His decline continues slowly. We have Memory Cafe today, which means pizza with his memory-loss buddies. That's always a good time. It's a great help to know you're not alone. Caregiver and the person with memory loss both. And Drew loves pizza so that's a huge plus for him.
