Seattle
Weather has continued to be uncooperative, so I've done my CityPASS tourism stuff. Much of it was indoors, and I don't mind being rained on, anyway.
Boeing's Museum of Flight (

A much smaller museum than expected, but it did have a few gems for me, namely the SR-71-like Boeing A-12 Blackbird, with drone... and the Concorde. Too much flash photography drained the batteries of the Nikon, so by the time I got to the WW2 planes, I had to use my smartphone's crappy camera (no flash, often blurry).

Oh gawd, screaming children everywhere. Tried to get good photos of the otters for Lisa, but not much I could do with the smartphone's camera.
Experience Music Project & Science Fiction Museum (

Also much smaller than expected. Not much at all in the Science Fiction Museum, just Battlestar Gallactaca and the Avatar exhibit (no photos of that, not much to it). EMP had guitars, a Nirvana exhibit, and a Jimi Hendrix exhibit, among other things that don't translate well to photos.
Pacific Science Center (

Very child-focused, but I enjoyed the butterfly garden.

A skyline view on a cloudy day; the perfect Seattle experience.
Argosy Harbor Tour (

A surprise gem. The tour guide's narration was entertaining. It rained for the first 5 minutes, but myself and a few others stayed on the top deck, and were rewarded with our choice of seating, so I got some great photos. Dried off about a third of the way into the tour, so wasn't even wet. The Coast Guard icebreakers were interesting. The big white ball thing is a radar platform built on a mobile oil rig platform; an amazing piece of technology. Good skyline shots, and some nice clouds.
Troll Bridge (

Per Lisa's suggestion, the Troll sculpture underneath the Aurora Bridge. Also got a burger at Red Mill, which was tasty. Thanks, Lisa!
