So, got news that my medical waiver has been accepted. That's good. The bad news is I have to wait 2-3 weeks for an army doctor consultation before I can even get a ship date. They promised to expediate my ship date once I'm in for certain, but this plays hell with any chance of me finding a job in the mean time.

So, anyone local to me... do you know of any short term work that needs doing? Unskilled physical labor is my current speciality. My IT/computer skills are rusty, so I'm not looking too much in that area. Also considering loans, as much as I'd hate to go that route, I'm not sure I have much choice.

So, it's mixed news. but nothing I didn't already come to expect from this situation.

On a positive note, finally hit 200# (200# to 205# at any particular time). I might be able to get under 190# by the time I ship, now, and be fully in regulation. Running days have been bisected, with 25-35 minutes in the morning (3-4 miles) and a cross-country jog/run in the afternoon (15-20 minutes). Been visiting Bay City's riverwalk area for pull ups and walking (fun mix, 3 sets of 10 and 3 miles walking). not really worried much about weight, so I'm working on some extra muscle tone so I feel better. Lost too much muscle since January.
