Never said I was smart...*sigh*
Donovan's sperm donor is almost dead. He wasn't ever a "dad", so I won't call him such. That was the second time I felt sorry for someone and married them to take care of them. (Hush..see the subject line! I know..I *know* it was stupid). The few good qualities he had were drowned by the evil he caused me and the kids. (I won't go into details..if you know me well, you know what he did; if you don't know me that well, just know it was BAD). He cost me time, money, and almost cost me the kids. And yet, even knowing all that, I feel a bit sorry that he's going to be dead soon. Not on my account, but because I'm foolish enough to think that just *maybe* he would make an effort to make amends to Donovan. There's no way he could ever make amends to Aine, that's a given, but to Donovan? Yeah yeah..I know. Stupid. *shrug*
