Setting: Highgarden. Margaery is 12, and has woken to find she has become a woman overnight.

Loras held his sister, as he often had when they were children, and tried to soothe her as she cried. Unlike when they were small, the pain she felt now was not easily assuaged. This was no scraped knee or bumped elbow. These were tears borne of knowing that your greatest fear would soon come true. He did his best to calm her, because he could not bear the sound of her sobs.
"I'm sure father and grandmother will find you a good husband. Someone brave and handsome and kind, who will love you from the instant he sees you."
Margaery just cried harder. Now that she had flowered there was no avoiding what she had dreaded for years. She would be married off and forced to leave everything she loved - her home, her family, her friends. Loras kissed the top of her head, and she looked up into his eyes.
"I'll never love any man as I love you." That was the true crux of her sadness. No man could ever be as brave as Loras, or as kind as Willas, or as handsome as Garlan. No matter who she married, he would never own her heart, because her brothers already did.
