Somewhat offended
So... Don Imus is in trouble for making racist remarks on his show. I'm not saying they were appropriate, but much more than being racist they were sexist. No, it's not politically correct to call a women's basketball team "nappy-headed" but let's face it, plenty of us white girls are prone to nappy hair too (yes, I'm aware of the term's historically offensive nature and don't mean to negate that).
What upsets me, is that the comments are far more sexist than they are racist and no one seems to have noticed. Apparently it's perfectly acceptable to call a team of female athletes a bunch of "hard core hos" citing such evidence as them having tatoos (Women with tatoos! Perish the thought!) as long as you don't make reference to their skin color.
