Learning styles impact research

In my teaching class, we're required to write a teaching statement (or teaching philosophy). I'm in the process of revising mine. One of the things I address in my teaching statement is that I would hope to facilitate learning for a variety of learning styles. I love reading research that contradicts other research [smile].

Maybe I'm just sick like that [laughing]. And maybe there's something in that which explains my affinity for Malcolm Gladwell's work...

I recently watched a relatively short video that talked about how learning styles don't exist. So, it's fun to see a paper talk about how learning styles affect research preferences [smile]. Fun stuff!
