One of those pointless updates...
It's amazing how much warmer today felt at 17 degrees than yesterday felt at -13 degrees. (Fahrenheit, cuz we stupid Americans still don't get the metric system.) On the other hand, it's amazing how cold 17 degrees feels with 30 mph winds. Blech.
I called the doc today about stupid kitty. The doc said that she needs to go on Prozac. I just hope it helps. I find it hard to believe a cat will avoid the litter box so much that she'll go near her food dish. That's just wrong.

My ibook is six years old this month. I was thinking it was time for an upgrade. It would be nice to have something smaller and lighter. I just hope all my books in my backpack aren't enough to bust it.

I'm personally not a big fan of the "male/female" labeling of connectors, either...but, practically speaking, it does avoid a lot of confusion and it's one less naming convention to remember. But yeah, those folks go too far.
