In all of my squeefullness about PilotLove!, I've totally forgotten to mention my adoration that Kara and Helo are friends again! With a side of Sharon (I hate the Athena callsign and cannot call her that yet)! At least crazy pirate Tigh is no longer her only friend. Because as much as I like seeing Tigh and Kara buddying up, it's probably not healthy in the long run.
They sort of remind me of some of the veterans in my PTSD groups who might reluctantly meet for coffee as a part of treatment, keep their backs to the walls and their eyes on the door, and talk about all the loaded guns they keep around the house and their plan of attack should anyone threaten them. The connection is important-- right now they need to stop isolating and at least have some sort of social support system in place. But in the long run, they need to transition that connectivity to people who won't feed into their anxiety /fear/paranoia. Helo can be that person for Kara-- Adama can be that person for Tigh.
