“I’m not sure - hell, I don’t even know if it will be winter when we arrive.”
“Oh, it will feel like winter… even if it’s the warmest month of the year. I think we might spend the next three years being never quite warm enough.”
“I’m hoping the Ambassador’s residence will have amenities like heating, though I didn’t think to ask before accepting the post. But it will be past Christmas by the time we arrive there anyway. We’ll just have to celebrate here on the shuttlecraft, lights turned low, surrounded by stars.”
