embroidery is a painful hobby

so this morning i wake up with my mother in my face begging me to baste the interfacing to the silk for nancy corset. so the first two hours of my day were spent with a needle in hand. then i start back on my corset embroidery for several hours. my fingers and worn and missing skin from several needle-pokes. however, i manage not to stick myself so hard that i blad on any of the silk! yay me!!

today i ate macaroni and cheese for two different meals. too much you say? oddly enough, i think not. my taste buds have regressed to the point of an 8 year old.

went ot half price books. got an embroidery stitch guide to remind me of some of the cooler stitches i had forgotten how to do (and still cant really manage without much frustration) and another book about celtic knotwork. i think that perhaps i can sew knotwork onto the corsets and/or pants. but at this rate my hands will be mincemeat and my fingers so raw you see the bones so perhaps not...

went to the chocolate bar again. it was lovely. ice cream is awesome.

at ashleys for the night. my granny has commandeered my bathroom with colonoscopy prep for the night. since i don't want to be kept awake by the sound of *flush* every twenty minutes, i opted to take fawkes to ashs for a slumber party. yay!!

biked again. please make me stop this nonsense. my legs hurt so bad that i have a hard time walking up the stairs. i feel 16 and doing drill camp again! ouch!! (i am doing this for a reason, i am doing this for a reason, i am doing this for a reason.... that's my stupid mantra...)

excercise, chocolate, costumes, boys, books
