woohoo...yay. I'm really excited about my new job! I have an
appointment for this thursday to go in and fill out the new employee
forms, and then I have my health screening on friday (Duke's picky
about these things I guess)...but hey, you won't see me complaining.
Especially with what their hourly wage is...heh. I'm sooooooo
excited!!! :) :)
ummmm, anyway, I finished my "story" for my mom's criminology class
(doesn't that make it sound so proper?)...I think it's good, but I
guess we'll see. ugh, I have to read it in front of everyone! yikes,
luckily "everyone" consists of a bunch of friends, so it won't be TOO
bad, but still. It's public speaking! Fear of public speaking ranks
HIGHER (in almost all the polls that have been conducted) than (you
ready for this?) DEATH! ha ha, that's right...meaning people would
basically rather die than have to speak in public. Alright, so I'm not
quite THAT bad, but I'm close.;)
ermm, me gots to go off now...french in the morning and tennis tomorrow
night! yaaay, I finally get to get out of this blasted house!! I
haven't left since sunday afternoon (ok, evening) when i went to see
"the march of the penguins", which was AMAZING, btw. ;) dum, dum,
dum...and now I'm stalling...lol I'll leave you with something very
insightful---ummm, like uhhh....a QUOTE, yes a quote.
"Two percent of the people think;
three percent of the people think they think; and ninety-five percent
of the people would rather die than think." George Bernard Shaw
