Quick recap: Kevin has the flu, Scotty has to work on Christmas evening, the kids are at Nora's house. The medicine that Scotty gave Kevin make him sleep and dream his own 'Hallmark Romantic Christmas movie, in which he drunk-marries Scotty and then gets summoned back to the holiday-home of a very furious Nora. After a quick stop at Kevin's own place, K/S travel to Nora's holiday home, where the reception is not as bad as they feared. Scotty gets his own room, but soon enough he needs to move into Kevin's room. Kevin and Scotty had their first kiss and Chad encourages Scotty to be honest with Kevin. But Scotty is too late, because Scott Randall is already there and he told his story to the Walkers and though Scotty gets a chance to tell his story, Nora decides that Scott has to leave and Kevin throws him out, thinking the issue solved, but now Scotty has a huge problem... Meanwhile, in real life, Scotty gets so concerned about Kevin's fever that he called Nora. They watch on until Kevin's fever breaks.

Kevin doesn't know what to say. The bitterness in Scotty is overwhelming, Kevin hadn't realized how deep Scotty's doubt was. His quick mind evaluates the situation. He understands now that he had been rather careless. Now that Scotty had vented his frustration, Kevin can see where it's coming from.
Scotty sits on the bed, his back turned to Kevin. He doesn't seem to be crying, but everything about him radiates rigid control. He's very tense and Kevin wonders how he can approach Scotty without making him lose that control. Kevin sits down on the other side of the bed and pulls up his legs so he can turn and see Scotty.
He breathes in and out slowly, letting his hands casually rest on his knees.
"Scotty?" Kevin keeps his voice soft. "Scotty, look at me, please." Scotty shakes his head. "Please? I want you to see me. I want you to look at me. I don't want you to doubt me. I want to be honest with you.
And you can't see my face and judge for yourself if I'm lying if you have your back turned to me." He can see Scotty tremble and he knows that Scotty is doubting what to do. So he whispers one more: "Please?" Scotty's shoulders sink and slowly he turns around and he sits further on the bed as well, but he still doesn't look at Kevin.
"Look at me." Kevin therefore says and when Scotty does, Kevin nearly chokes on the pain which he sees there. "I'm sorry. I was selfish. I did only think of myself and I didn't really consider your feelings. You're right." Obviously Scotty hadn't expected these words because his entire face displays shock and surprise.
"But I haven't lied to you. When I found out that we were married, at first, I was too confused to think. But you seemed like a nice guy and just as confused as I was and you certainly didn't seem to want to abuse the situation. I ... I did something I don't do that often... I trusted you instinctively. I just did.
Then when we got to my apartment and you went to bed, that's when I checked if I could find some data on you and I nearly got an anxiety-attack. I swear. I couldn't believe it. I couldn't believe I had been so gullible, so trusting of you. I panicked. I didn't lie about Hank..."
He opens up his laptop, he picks a few files, which he opens, then he turns the laptop to Scotty.
"This is how much is in the two charities. And they were my main concern. You see, it was stupid to get drunk and get married to you. And that is my responsibility.
And if you would take me for half my money... well, that would be my fault, my stupidity. As a lawyer I should have known better. I made a stupid choice in a drunken move and, fine, my fault. But those two account, that was Hank's money. And he would never had made a mistake like that. He never got drunk once in his life. Not even as a teenager.
He'd be so disappointed in me for throwing away what he had built up for me, for us, for others. He would have been so hurt to see me waste that on some golddigger.... And it did give me a few sleepless hours... and then I went to wake you up for breakfast and I saw you and .... I started to doubt again..
Somehow, the feeling in my heart didn't match with the knowledge in my head. Now I had to figure out which of the two was right. So I brought back the prenup and gave it to you, knowing that if you'd not sign it, I'd be in deep shit if I'd ever meet Hank again in the after-life...." Kevin's careful joke brings a little smile to Scotty's lips.
"And you have absolute no idea how relieved I was when you barely hesitated and you just signed it... It was proof to me that my instinctive reaction to you had been the right one. And that was all I needed to know... I had no idea what the real story was, but you were not what you'd been painted to be by the gossip-press... Wow, shocker."
This time Scotty relaxes somewhat and his smile is just a bit bigger, but it vanishes just as fast as it came.
"Now, as a lawyer, I can get far more information than I should get, I have quite a network of snitches etc. I've been in this business too long.
And with some help from a colleague I managed to get a better picture of the financial situation you're facing. I'm not getting involved in that though, unless you'd want me to. Though I will definitely advice you to sack your lawyer and get a better one, because he did a bad job, but that's beside the point.
You're right. You will most likely get a lot money. Definitely more than what Hank and I had. But if you were a real golddigger, you would have taken Hank's money as pocket-money for yourself without thinking twice... .But you didn't. And that's what I told my family when they found out about you.
I asked them to give you a fair chance. My mother's anger wasn't quite unfounded. In case of a divorce you'd also get 5% of Ojai Foods, the family-company, or we'd have to buy you out, so, she had a good reason to be upset. So, you made all of us happy when you signed that prenup..."
Kevin opens his suitcase and pulls out a file.
"But you're right. And you were wrong. The document is not at my place, waiting for the judge's decision. It's right here. I did remember that I didn't sign it, that's why I brought it with me. To finish it. But I hadn't thought about it since I got here.
I've been too busy. But here it is. And it's signed by you..." Kevin takes his pen and signs it. "And now it's signed by me too. What is yours remains yours and what is mine remains mine. Fair is fair. We can now scan the document and send it over and it will be dealt with by my colleague."
Kevin wants to get up, but Scotty stops him and takes the prenup.
"You signed it..." He's astounded by what Kevin just did for him.
"I was never interested in your money to begin with. All I wanted was to protect what was Hank's." Kevin says, gently raising his hand to caress Scotty's cheek with his thumb.
"And I was never interested in your money either... You looked so worried. I just wanted to help you." Scotty leans into the touch. "For me, it was never about money. Not with Wilburn, not with you.."
"I know, that's why I trusted you...." Kevin says.
He leans closer. Scotty's lips part. Their kiss is very soft and tender and when they break up they smile at each other, both feeling a bit shy.
"Kev, I really like you." Scotty admits. "And you have no idea how much I wanted this to be real. It hurt so much to think that you'd been playing a game with me..."
Kevin nods. He had thought as much. It just hadn't occurred to him how it all must have looked for Scotty, especially coming out of a bad relationship, trying to walk away from a life filled with people who lied to him and about him.
"I really, really, like you too. And I'm not playing games." Kevin answers therefore.
Scotty's smile is one of relief and happiness. He places his hand behind Kevin's head and pulls Kevin closer for another kiss. Their kiss is intimate and warm and Scotty lets himself sink back on the bed, taking Kevin on top of him. His hands slides over Kevin's back, lower, pushing Kevin down, making him feel how much he wants Kevin.
Kevin moans as he feels the hardness he wants to play with, but instead he carefully breaks himself free from the kiss.
"I really want to take this further, but ... my family is worried about you. And about me. And ... maybe we should tell them everything's fine, before they break down the door."
"They wouldn't!"
"Ah, yeah, they would. And I don't want to get caught with my naked ass in the air... Not again, that is."
"Again?" Scotty asks.
"Long story." Kevin deflects, making Scotty only more curious.
"But... we will later on...?" Scotty now asks.
"You bet." Kevin promises, giving Scotty a final kiss, before getting off the bed. "But first we need to put the ruffled feathers back in place."

"Should we go upstairs and check on them?" Sarah asks.
"Oh, no, not that again!" Kitty disagrees.
"They've been up there for a long time..." Nora worries.
"Remember what happened last time." Justin warns without looking up from his book.
"We're still traumatized."
"Tommy is right. Hadn't seen Kevin's butt since he was baby and I had to clean his diapers. Frankly, I don't need a re-run of what I saw that afternoon."
"Mhmm, I don't entirely agree, Kitty, I could always admire the view."
"I know you would, Chad." Kitty nods with a sly little grin. "Not that your hubby did much to help the situation. He disappeared under the blanket, leaving poor Kevin to face us half naked."
"Half? If I remember correctly he was only wearing his socks at the time. That's not half."
"You have a good memory, Jason." Kevin adds, coming down the stairs, with Scotty following him.
"Scotty! Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, thank you, Nora. I got overwhelmed. I needed a bit of room to breathe."
"So, we're all good?"
"Yes, Justin, we are."
"Good. Can we please get the table ready then? It's been a long day filled with emotions, we need to replenish first. Let's eat!" Nora announces.

Kevin isn't entirely sure how he ended up on his bed, naked, under Scotty, but however it happened, he's not complaining. He can feel Scotty's lips on his skin, on his shoulder. He wants nothing more than Scotty's mouth back on his, but Scotty's fingers are sliding down lower and they are quite distracting.
They caress his belly, making Kevin move up to the touch. He moans again.
"Please,..." He whispers and Scotty know seems to know what he wants. His head disappears under the sheet and Kevin enjoys the feel of that warm mouth moving further down. He spreads his legs.
He cries out Scotty's name, when Scotty reaches his belly button and he wants more, so much more....
"Kevin!" Scotty calls out. Kevin shakes his head, he doesn't want Scotty to stop. "Kevin!" He wants Scotty to touch him, make him come... "Ke..."

"... vin!" With a jolt Kevin opens his eyes.
"What?!"
"Whatever you were doing in our sleep, I want in on the fun.." Scotty jokes sweetly.
"What?" Kevin feels disorientated.
"Are you alright, babe? You had quite a fever last night..." Scotty explains and Kevin notices how his clothes stick to his body.
"We were having sex..."
"No. You were moaning and tossing in bed..."
"We got married in Vegas."
"No, Pasadena."
"We were drunk." Kevin explains.
"I'm fairly sure we weren't."
"No. No... In my dream."
"Oh... Right..." Scotty still has no idea what Kevin is talking about, but he's too happy to see Kevin be his normal, but it somewhat confusing, self.
"You woke me up." Kevin pouts.
"Sorry."
"Now I can't get to defend you and be this brilliant lawyer..."
"I'm afraid you lost me...?" Scotty gives Kevin a confused look.
"I wanted to be your hero." Kevin sulks a bit and Scotty can't help but laugh as he pours Kevin some chicken-soup and he hands it over to Kevin.
"But, honey, you're always my hero." He then says. He smiles and he leans over to kiss Kevin.
