A little late for me. It's already the 15th here in Holland, but still wanted to post it:

“Well, that was an interesting way to close this Valentine’s day.” Scotty sighs, entering the loft first, followed immediately by Kevin. Kevin hums something in approval of Scotty’s statement. “What a terrible night! This was the first and the last time I’m spending Valentine with another gay couple.”
Kevin is tempted to say that he had warned Scotty beforehand, that Steven and Roger are nice friends to hang out with, but on such a special night..? Not so much. Naturally the evening had started nice and with fun, until Steven had spend too much attention on a young man at the bar.
This had irritated Roger and him confronting Steven had erupted in a shouting match, that had Scotty look away in embarrassment and Kevin sigh in relief that his family was not the only ones to have a flair for the dramatic.
Eventually it had ended with Steven and Roger, leaving the restaurant each in another direction and Kevin and Scotty staring at each other in disbelief, both feeling uncomfortable because other guests were staring at them now as well.
“Aren’t you going to say ‘I told you so’?” Kevin hears Scotty say.
“Tough decision. Do I lie or shall I be brutally honest?” Kevin laughs quietly.
“Lie to me.” Scotty begs, letting his hands rest on Kevin’s hips, moving closer for a kiss.
“I didn’t say it, because I didn’t want to hurt your feelings, I know how deeply you feel for your two…” Kevin searches the right word. “… acquaintances?”
Scotty chuckles, but is silenced when Kevin kisses him and for a moment they are both quiet, enjoying the way their mouths come together and how they pull each other closer into a tight embrace. Scotty moves his body against Kevin’s, making him understand what he wants, in no uncertain terms.
But eventually they have to come up for air and when they break their kiss, Scotty sighs.
“Now be brutally honest to me.” Scotty grins, covering Kevin’s face with little kisses.
“I didn’t say ‘I told you so’, because I have my mind set on hot sex with you, my dear husband. And not on sleeping alone on the couch after arguing over two people I don’t care about to begin with.”
Scotty laughs against Kevin’s mouth, claiming another kiss.
“I like it so much better when you’re brutally honest me.”
“I’ll remind you of those words, next time you ask if something makes you look fat.” Kevin’s words get an immediate response when Scotty tickles him, until Kevin begs for mercy.
They are still laughing when they reach the bedroom, kissing, laughing, touching, but Scotty falls quiet when he slides open the door to the bedroom and turns on the light. The sweet smell of roses meets him as he sees the bed covered with rose-petals, next to the bed are two glasses with champagne.
Scotty slowly walks up to the bed, a bit overwhelmed by Kevin’s little surprise and, nervously, Kevin lights up the candles beside their bed and turns to Scotty, obviously feeling awkward.
“I… I know I’m not always the most romantic man… but I do love you.”
Scotty wraps his arms around Kevin and kisses him softly.
“I love you too,” he replies. “And I don’t care what others think, you are romantic enough for me.. You’re all I’ve ever wanted. Happy Valentine’s Day.”
“Got you a little Valentine-gift…. Care to unwrap … me?” Kevin asks with a flirtatious smile.
“Something tells me that gift is growing… hard…”
“… fast…” Kevin replies, rubbing his body against Scotty’s, making Scotty moan.
“Want me to take care of it?”
“Well, that was my idea….” Kevin purrs and Scotty laughs as he pushes him on the bed and covers his body.
