Summary: Oh, that English fog.

“Yes, of course, leave it to us… One week holiday in London and we get the typical English fog…” Kevin complains shoving his hands deeper in his pockets.
“Don’t be silly. There’s nothing wrong with a bit of fog. It will clear up…” Scotty says.
“Yes, the last day of our holidays, no doubt.”

“I told you, we should have gone to Amsterdam or Paris, but you insisted on London.” Scotty reminds him gently.
“It wouldn’t have made a difference. The weather-forecast showed that it rains in Amsterdam and Paris is covered in snow.”

“And we have fog…”
“I hate fog. It’s scary.” Kevin pouts.
“Fog? Scary?”
“You obviously never read Stephen King.”

“Saw the movie.”
“You did? When?”
“Justin hired it a few months ago. Rebecca and you had to work. We were bored.”
“Jeez, by now, you see more of my family and in-laws than I do.”

“I don’t know. Seems more like I can’t always avoid them.” Scotty frowns.
“Yeah. Sorry about that.” Kevin replies absent-mindedly, looking at the map in his hands. “Where do we go to now?”
“Millenium Eye?” Scotty suggests.

“With this fog? That would be a waste of money. We wouldn’t see anything.”
“You’re so unromantic! The point is to get to the top and kiss and ‘get naughty.”
“What’s the point of getting ‘naughty’, if no one can see you?” Kevin wonders.
“If someone could see you, you wouldn’t get naughty with me.” Scotty replies with a smile.

“True, because that would inappropriate.” Kevin nods, hardly suppressing his own grin.
“And, of course, you never do anything inappropriate.” Scotty teases.
“Never.” Kevin lies and Scotty laughs out loud.
“Can we perhaps go for another cup of tea? I’m want to try everything…”

Scotty is like a child in a candy-store and Kevin is amused by his enthusiasm, but he shakes his head.
“Not yet, please, you may be crazy about teas in all variety, I’m more a coffee kinda guy.”
“I’ll pay for the muffins…..” Scotty tempts him and Kevin stops for a moment and looks as if he’s really considering his husband’s words.
“Alright then.” He laughs and Scotty takes Kevin’s arm and in the fog they search their way to a warmer place.
