Jumping off the PC ship
So I finally bought a new bedroom set as well as a Mac computer yesterday. I actually lugged a really heavy iMac desktop up one floor to where my car was parked. I know I could have had someone at the store help me or I could have brought my car closer to the doors but I persisted.
Anyways I love it! I love its simple elegance and space-saving qualities (hard disk and speakers built in). I love the sound and the pretty picture quality! Yay! It's a nice change and now I have to do something with my old 8-year-old PC.
And I loved that I got everything tax free :-0
Now I'm off to WalMart to buy a few more pieces of furniture.
Oh I saw a great show at the Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain last night. It was The Truth About Blayds, written by A.A. Milne who wrote Winnie the Pooh (but nothing rumbly tumbly about it ;-)). It was a very well-acted, funny show and higly recommend seeing it. Last showing is at 4pm today, so if you get a chance check it out!
