North Beach

Today marks the end of a fantastic and yet another fulfilling Easter weekend. Well all good things must come to an end, and sadly it is back to work for most people. Except for Uni students like me, who are "enjoying" the mid-term break, but of course, no mid-term break is complete without assignments due the first day Uni starts next Monday.

And again, I never learn not to procrastinate... but of course, seeing how I had a fantastic weekend, I traded sleep last night to slave away for my assignment due earlier today. Thank god it was an online submission and I am glad it is over! One down, two to go! :|

So again, Robbie was kind enough to "save" me from my assignment, so I got out and had lunch at Glen Waverly, oh speaking of which, Robbie and I are on a hunt to try each and every Asian restaurant in Glen Waverly, so far we have tried 5 (2 of them were not that bad). Just before it got dark, we managed to head down to North Beach for a bit! During that time my assignments were still unfinished -- so I went home, finished up my assignment, submitted it, and went out again for coffee! That goes to show how very productive I am, and yes I am still working towards doing 4th year honours! But hey, it all worked out well in the end, so it was ok! So yes, here's to an amazing week of no Uni, soooo happy!

Also for the first time, things are going relatively ok down under, friends are constant, I am going out way too much than I usually do, and my weeknights are fueled with coffee sessions at Chapellis (or wherever) which I love and look forward to everytime. Although it still has some "drama" factor in it which I cannot escape, I am beginning to start missing Singapore lesser from time to time. Although, I miss and think about Singapore everyday, I am constantly reminded of the good things I have around me here - so I am learning to appreciate what I have around me and stop yearning for something I have little/no control over.

Have a great week everyone! ;)
