I took a ruler to it. of course the ruler stops at 12" so I'm guessing that it's about 13 1/2 inches diagonal. I can get you some pictures if you like and/or we can talk on skype about the specifics of it.

Okay so I can't get the Cd/DVD drive to read a disk. The computer doesn't tell me the drive is there, either, but when I put a disk in, it DOES power up and act like it's trying to do something. I can ask leeor if he has any ideas what might fix that. I thought I just updated the drivers.

If you're around today let me know. I'll tell you about the quirky things the computer does.

i'm at work from 12 about 11 today, tomorrow and the next day. then I'm working 5 to close on xmas eve and day. then i'll be in NY all day, and i dont know my schedule for next week yet :< but I'm off newyears eve and day for sure... yOu should come up and party with us!

I'm gonna be xmas shopping in the mornings, but ill be on my computer at night for the next few days i think. are you ever on after 11? (not tonight though, less its late- im hitting walmart on the way home so i may not get on till like 11:30ish. )

...well, nothing conclusive. I tried updating the drivers and it didn't help. Leeor says I can try looking in the BIOS and see if the drive is enabled, but I have.... no idea how to do that

Hey Kat, I'm having trouble putting photoshop on it. Nothing major, I can probably fix it but... I hope you're not offended, but I'm going to try and see if I can get 100$ for it on craigslist. If I can get more, I'll need the money. If not, then I'll continue to put photoshop on, and it's yours... I just don't know HOW I'd get it to you. I don't trust shipping it, Shipping it would probably cost quite a bit too...

yes! see if you can get more for it on craigslist. ^_^ In fact, try and sell it till we wind up seeing each other again. If you sell it, awesome. if no one winds up buying it, I can give you 80 for it whenever we next get together if you want to get rid of it at that time. (So dont give up oh photoshop, k? ^_~) because shipping it just seems... bad. very bad. ^_^
