I'M ALIVE!
I am working right now at my new job (yes, I got ANOTHER job becuase I'm afraid of committment)
I'm working at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library Board Office as an Accounting Intern. (Thanks again "Tigertrak")
Karalee, Chelsie, and Lindsay, sorry I haven't been keeping up with your journals. I have a few reasons that i hope will justify my absense:
-Saxophone lessons as a 3 hour credit course are nothing to joke about. (spent lots of time practicing)
-Lindsay scared me when she mentioned that I shouldn't read because I could read something Potter related that would spoil it for me.
-Finals (especially Business Law and Economics)
Anyways, all that is over now, and I am currently on page 9 of "Order of the Pheonix". I have a computer at work and lots of free time (just like the last job) so you can expect to hear from me much more frequently in posts and comments.
You know my story, so I won't go into detail about the whole music education major thing. I don't know what I was doing worrying about that. I'm not good enough, nor does it pay enough. I've reached the conclusion that I cannot do it. Instead here's what my future will REALLY be:
-I plan to graduate with honors (of course) from LSU with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
-After that, I will attend and finish Graduate school (with honors) in Accounting and finish with a Master's Degree.
-Then, I will take (and pass) the CPA exam with excellent marks on the first try.
-From there, I will go to LSU (or Tulane) Law School to specialize in Accounting Law. (oh hell, I might as well go for Harvard Law)
-After that I should be well into my 30's, so it will be time to find a mate. Of course, It would be a girl that I met in college and she will have just finished Medical School. (Catholic, of course, with a large, wealthy family) We will get married at a neutral location and EVERYONE in Hackberry will be invited. (God forbid I forget to invite someone. I need as many critics there as possible...lol)
-As I approach my 40's, It will be time for me to begin work on my political campaigns. Representative first, then Senate, then President (obviously). It's a good thing that I met all the contacts (a.k.a. votes) while in Law school, Grad School, and undergrad school. Not to mention all the powerful people that my parents know.
Pressure? NO WAY! I mean, its my destiny to have success and wealth (because they are the EXACT SAME THING). I so glad that I stopped getting distracted by these silly things like Music and Band. It's time I grew up and stopped trying to "play with my horn". The horn will not feed my family. Never try to make your hobby your job. I mean, who in their right mind would choose a career in a field that you love. Honestly? Everyone knows that you are supposed to HATE your job. It's just how the world works. And I am stubborn and close minded, so don't try to convince me otherwise.
