QotDA: The River Nile / Naru-Fish Tomb

SarcasticWriter's Question of the Day was, "If you had to be buried inside any existing tomb or grave, and the tomb's name would be changed to yours, whose would you want to take over?"

The River "Black" in Egypt:

Supposed resting place of the genitalia of great Osiris after he was torn apart by Set, swallowed down and lost in the belly of an inconspicuous Naru fish.

And you thought sex with animals was just for the mortals!

Seriously though, historians believe that the Nile River was named as a resting place for portions of Osiris both because of the rivers' mythological and literal importance to farmers and thus the Egyptian economy as a whole; and also due to number of deaths caused by this river and its hazards each year. Incidentally, also right next to the Pyramid at Giza.

The Naru Fish in the Nile is not a formal crypt per se, but rather an Egyptian version of the supposed Davy Jone's Locker.

Best I could do on short notice, anyway. :)
