Taking Bets

Apr 03, 2009 08:45

Armed with printed out directions AND a GPS, yet driving solo, will I be able to make it to the Madrigal site? Arrive at site but be late 2 hours? 3? More? Make your bets!

Be well.

Add in the rain as well?

Fun times.

Ah yes! That should be part of betting considerations. It's also forced me to pack more extra clothes. Every time I have the opportunity to NPC, which is rare nowadays, it seems like I always make it to the rainy events.

Be well.

Well, to be fair, Madrigal seems to be scheduling itself fairly exclusively to the rainy weekends.

I blame RJC pandering to the Stormdancer special interest group.

Madrigal site, i have faith in you. Endgame site, is a different story.

With a GPS, you'll be fine - it's all off numbered routes.

The Endgame site is actually pretty good with a GPS, too, if you get the street number of the camp director's house.

Do you know what that number is out of curiosity? Is it 67 Ball Road? Or am I mixing that up with the Radiant site...

Be well.

I don't know it offhand, but I'll look it up for you.

"Brantwood Camp Rd. and E. Mountain Rd., Peterborough, NH" works just fine on my Tom-Tom. 67 Ball Road is, in fact, Radiant.

I predict no more than 2 and no less than 1 phonecall regarding directions.

So am I the wolf, the fire, or the person on fire?

Be well.
