This past weekend turned out great. Left for the CT on Thursday and spent a little time with my mom and sis before they left for Israel. Friday night my dad and I left for new york, but due to delays couldn't do much else besides checking into the hotel by the time we got there. We did walk around for a while and I actually saw Yin in the crowds, but wasn't comfirmed of it till later.
Saturday rocked getting to see Avenue Q and Hairspray. Avenue Q was spectacular and better than I thought it would be from just listening to the soundtrack over and over. I'd worn my Michigan Fencing t-shirt that day in hopes that the far chance came true and I saw Steve there or he'd see me. But much to my surprise, when we saw Hairspray in the evening Andrew J. was two rows behind me. Granted, I kept looking back like a stalker because I couldn't believe it. Intermission made it certain and I chatted for a while with him and his friend, Craig who apparently went to school with the lead from the show. After the show, my dad and I drove back to CT and I came back Sunday. Caught a bit of a cold during my trip, but I guess karma has to balance the universe...or just respond to my desire to sing.
I got one camera developed on monday, and realized just how ridiculously serious I look when I'm dancing.
Finally streaked my hair....pictures forthcoming.
