um, i've only had it for a while, but i suppose the allure for me was a) it's the latest social networking tool and you're hearing about it all the timez. b) it's a lot simpler of a system than the other social networking sites out there. i think what's so appealing about the posting style is that it's easy to update in that posts have to be short, so that keeps people coming back often, like internet-cocaine. it's a style that works really well since people expect the internet to constantly update and keep them entertained twenny-fowe-seven
