Flesh and blood
Today I, at long last, got around to getting tested to see if my blood is good enough to share with other people. Initial results (hemoglobin and blood-pressure values) good; final results (diseases and contagions) pending.
Actually drawing any blood proved a bit of a pain, because I'm apparently a stingy git with nervous veins that ran away and hid (the nurse had to sting me twice, and still only got just enough to send to the lab).
I am also now registered as an organ donor.
There's a cry here of “frickin' finally!”
