BREAKING NEWS: at about 5pm today, i heard rustling at my door, followed by the door opening. It was.....Jerome! What? Why? Its Sunday, whats he doing here? I dont know if i can handle this. Can we talk about this?
As I compose myself, thanks Jen for the advice to "stay away from the bongs." I'll keep that in mind.
For those of you unfamiliar with the Cheers theme song, the gyst of it is that they characters long for a place where "everybody knows your name." Today, I found that place. Its the GNC in the Ann Arbor Shopping Towne. How nice is it when you walk in, the guy at the desk knows your name, makes conversation, and knows what your coming to get. Oh, its nice.
Laguna Beach. Thank you setti for getting me hooked on this show. And looking back, whats not to love about it. Its nearly a carbon copy of the OC (more on the OC later), except the actors are real, they look more like are age, as opposed to the cast of the OC who's average age must be at least 29. Add to that the fact that nearly every one of the girls is absolutely gorgeous, they are obceneley rich, and its beautiful weather. Series finale tuesday at 10:30. Very sad, you know where i'll be, probably with a box of kleenex.
Did I mention the gilrs on that show are gorgeous?
The O.C. Lord I love this show, its everything you'd want in a show. This week should be intense. Will Summer take back Seth? What about Jen? Will Ryan and his new flame work out? What will come of Summers current squeeze? Who's Caleb having an affair with? More importantly, how could she be sluttier than his current wife? Whats with Marissa and THE YARD GUY!? Did she have a bottle of JD in that lifegaurd perch? These questions need answers.
One more time...THE YARD GUY!?
FYI: I'm considering inducting the OC into my TV Hall of Fame. Currently enshrined include Dr.Quinn Medecine Woman, Arli$$, Early Edition, Ally McBeal, and early episodes of Iron Chef. I know its early, but still. Also on the ballot is Boston Public. Let me know what you all think. Come to think of it, this subject probably deserves its own entry. Im thinking it'll get one.
Asians. I promised I'd get into this. Coming here to college, i've taken notes and noticed that there are three distinct groups of asians. They are as follows:
1. Goofy Asians: They're your run of the mill asian, and most common. Goofy looking, wear interesting clothing, and are insanely smart in the subjects of math and anything that rhymes with "-ysics." They are always seen in groups of other "goofy asians," talking about something we will never know.
2. Annoying Asian Girls: Looking back, this could actually broken into two catagories. One are the hot ones, or at least they think so, who think they are the second coming of God himself. Then theres your loud asian girls. You know, the ones that talk on the cellphone in their native tongue loud enough so that, if they really tried, hicks in Tenessee sitting on their porches could make out the conversation. Apparently, while we're on the bus, we want to hear you yelling. And whats theyre obsession with hello kitty?
3. Ghetto Asians: I really never experienced this group until i came here. They dress like thugs, but they're asian. They are chain smokers and listen to rap, but they're asian. All in all, they look extremely thug-ish, from afar. Up close, they're asian. And that is where the image fails.
Apparently Setti is having some run-ins in Springfield. Be careful camanouche.
So Bonds and Giambi are on the juice. Really? You sure? Positive? Right. I'll adress that later, but what i really want to know, is will MLB disallow those two home runs Giambi hit in Game 7 last year where we lost by 1 run? Me bitter? Nahh...
FYI 2: My new hat looks stellar. Finished shaping it today. It'll make an appearance at Christmas.
