Time for another lame New Years note.
This New Years Eve was decidedly less exciting than last year, in Norway, in the snow, but nonetheless it was just as happy a memory.
2010 was a half-bad, half-freking-fantastic year. Started, as I said, in Oslo with two good friends, one happens to be my BMFF. Nursing school kicked my ass for another 6 months and then, *poof* it was OVER! YEEEESSSSSS! It almost is a distant memory now, almost.
Post nursing school life has been amazing. I got a wonderful job that I (almost) always enjoy going to, a new more grown-up apartment and a new truck. All by myself. How very adult of me. I've managed to keep track of my finances AND still make and keep travel plans. Not as many travel plans as I would've liked, but plenty to keep me happy.
I've made new friends and tried to maintain old friendships, some better than others (sorry guys). I've cut ties with some people I care deeply for and I managed to say those *three words* to another person again, and mean it. Shame it had to wait to the last conversation we ever will have. I've gained new family members and have grown closer to other family members... Increased physical distance seems to help. ;)
I turned 30 and didn't die. Amazing. Unfortunately I managed to choose a place to spend my 30th birthday that meant my birthday was celebrated 8 hours earlier than if I had been in California. Ha. Loved every second of it.
Now comes the time for plans and predictions for this new year...
Begin paying off school loans. Yuck.
Apply for the MPH program I've decided on.
Work hard.
Play hard.

September: Decide if I will renew my lease
