Pressure
It can turn a lump of coal into a flawless diamond,
Or a hard working average person into a perfect basket case.
I had been celebrating a transfer to a new job with intervals of despair about leaving my old one.
After yesterday, I have no more despair, only jubilation, at the prosects of running away from it.
We had to provide safe customer service to a full workload while moving from one construction area into anohter one. We had to do our regular work while surrounded by carpenters, electricians, plumbers, computer and telephone installers.
The noise and brouhaha was too much.
