I'm watching It's A Wonderful Life (I pvr'd it the other night). Every time I watch it, I remember how amazing it is. What a great movie. It's one of my favourites.
It's a good day to reminisce. It's kind of a sad day. My grandfather passed away very early this morning. He's been suffering from Alzheimers for a number of years now, 6 or 7 I think. He hasn't has his mind in a number of years. He didn't remember anyone, not even my grandmother. The past few days he's stopped eating, stopped everything, he just slept. So maybe, in a way, it's a blessing. He's no longer suffering and is at peace.
The funeral is going to be Tuesday I think. My parents are off to the funeral home today to make the plans. I hope I can get the time off of work. I've already used my bereavement day last month. I'm sure it will work out though. They've always been understanding.
