Omg, I'm leaving England for GOOD. So sad. :(
Eeek! Only one more full day left in London. How sad!!! In two days I'll be on a plane heading home. However, I will be watching Star Trek (as it's playing this month on Air Canada - wooo!!) to console myself. Right now I'm procrastinating about packing. Bad, I know. I have a feeling it's going to be an all-nighter tomorrow night!! Oh well. I can sleep when I'm dead, right??
The past few days have been really good. On Monday I went and met Emma for lunch near work, because it's convenient. We went to Nandos, yay unlimited drinks!! Then I made her take me to Madame Tussauds so I could pick up some boxes in case I needed them to ship things (which I don't think I do, so I lugged them around for nothing, but oh well) where I saw a few people. Then the annoying manager came and ruined it. but it provided us some good gossip! Then we went to Leicester Square to see about a theatre ticket for me. I had gotten a good email offer from Avenue Q, a top-priced ticket and free program for £25 and the seats offered for Jersey Boys that evening (by the time I got there) weren't great, so I went to see Avenue Q one last time. It was awesome as usual! It was my 8th time I believe. And I still love it! Yesterday I went and met Jen for lunch. I bought one last set of books (3 for 2) at Waterstones, found a feather hair piece thing for Amanda's wedding (yay!) and then we had burritos for lunch. Yum! I then convinced Jen to come with me to the Natural History Museum, but the queues are huge, so we went to the Science Museum instead. It was fun! Then I went and saw her flat and then went home. Today I met Joanna and Dan one last time and we went out for lunch in Golders Green (the Jewish area of London). We went to Blooms which is this Jewish deli that has been there forever. It was okay. It wasn't bad, but it was expensive and it wasn't the best I ever had. I told them they need to come visit me in Toronto and I'd take them to Centre Street Deli for some delicious food! It was great seeing them one last time. Then I went to Leicester Square to pick up my theatre ticket for tomorrow night. I'm seeing Jersey Boys again. I know, I should see something I haven't seen before. But I loved it so much, and this time I get to see Ryan Molloy!! Then I went to this theatre shop and bought Ryan Molloy's cd which just came out on Monday. It's him singing Frankie Valli songs. I'm listening to it now, it's great! Tonight I'm meeting up with work people one last time. One last trip to the Met Bar. :(
Tomorrow I'm going to Madame Tussauds so I can see Emma in costume, hopefully I can see a couple of people to say goodbye too. Then I have to PACK. Then Jersey Boys at night! Then one last Hagen Daas ice cream and seeing Piccadilly Circus and then I assume I'll be packing all night. Then Friday I leave. :( Yikes! But then I'll get to see my family and friends (who thankfully have not forgotten me! I've already made plans!) so I guess it's good. I sure am going to miss it here though. And who knows when I'm going to get to come back. Hopefully sooner rather than later. At least I'll have free places to stay when I come back now! Lol!
Also, friending memes are the new greatest thing ever. Especially if they're Kirk/McCoy ones. Because let's face it, they're totally my new otp and I pretty much read only them. I need new icons. I digress. *waves* Welcome new friends!! I should make this journal more fandom-y. I think we need to plan first a Kirk/McCoy meet up, and then a Star Trek con in the vibe of Prophecy. Yes?? No?? My vote is yes!
