how did I not mention this??
Writing "I'm spent" made me think of going to bed in my luxurious new bed. Yeah, Aric and I upgraded this weekend to a king-sized bed. It is like sleeping in a perfect cloud, and the best thing is that I get to stretch out like I used to when I was a teenager. No more crowding in our tiny double bed. We probably could have settled for a queen, but we got a good deal, and I have always wanted a king-sized bed. Jesus...it's a dream come true. I had the best night of sleep in my life last night. Poor Aric isn't used to it yet, so he was a little uncomfortable. I bet it'll take a little bit to get used to because, man, it's JUST FREAKING HUGE... but I love it. Love, love it!! Plus, we kept our old bed, so now we actually have guest sleeping! Amazing! We went to Marshalls and found some good, cheap sheets and a comforter. King-sized stuff is expensive, so we were lucky to find a comforter, two pillow shams and a complete sheet set for 70 dollars. Regularly priced, that stuff would have been probably double, if not triple, that amount. Plus, the company we bought the bed from threw in a complete set of sheets, two pillows, a mattress pad, and a bed frame. Nice. I'm really happy about it. I hope Aric loves it just as much as I do soon!
