(no subject)
so that last two days have been quite regular...just school, talking with friends, and basketball practice. But we have been running more in basketball pratice i guess to get in better shape since they had a week off and now we are going to sweden at the end of May but that is good for me cuz i am trying to lose the weight that i have put on this year...eekk it is hard to not eat all this deliecous chocolate and wonderful pastries but i am trying to hold my own. i htink so far i have lost 1 kg now i would like to lose about 6 or 8 more and only like 5 or 6 weeks to do it in wish me luck.
but off that subject...there is only 2 days left til my birthday...I got my first birthday card today (from Uncle john, Aunt darlene, Jill, and Sylvia). I have also done a bit of shopping today i got mothers days cards and a nice little hard cover notebook that i am gunna have people write in and i wont read it till i am on the airplane or back in the USA cuz then it means more i guess or maybe i am jsut being silly but that is what i am gunna do-sniffle. It is so sad to actualy know that i will be saying goodbye really soon to everyone and everything that i have gotten close to this year and has become my home and my surroundings WOW is all that i can say.
So this weekend i have many parties planned like tonight i am going and partying with Tuuli and all her friends and everyone i hung out with during the first half of my year here. And then tomorrow i am not sure if i will go and play volleyball but even if i dont i will be hanging out with a few friends from school (hanna, anna, max, jonna, possibly max's cousin, and also maybe some others not sure yet, and then i am hoping some of the other exchangers), but we will see cuz we will probly just hang out in the park and mess around or maybe get something to eat and drink. And then on Sunday at 2pm after tuuli and laura are done with cheerleading practice we (me, this host family, and my first host family) are going to have a little dinner and cake or something like that at my house to celebrate my birthday :) . oh this weekend is going to be fun i just gotta wait like another 30 mintues before i can get out of my sweaty nasty basektball clothes and take a shower cuz it takes like 2 hours for the water to even be luke warm after you turn on the water heater...not quite sure why they dont keep it on all the time but whatever not my say.
Alright well i will write more possibly tomorrow or sometime this weekend! I hope that you all have a great time at PROM and party it up on my birthday...that makes me sad i am missing prom and the after party which is on my birthday (but then again whatever i guess it isnt that big of a deal i will be having fun here as usual!).
