Yesterday was awesome!

After waking up and showering, my mom called me to tell me that she would be picking me up to go to Bob Chin's for lunch with her, my dad, and my brother (my sister wasn't there since she's at band camp). Both my parents work for Allstate in Northbrook and my brother has an internship there so they all went during their lunch break. The food was good and I felt happy. But that wasn't the really fun part of my day.

The really fun part of my day was everything that came next. I went to Six Flags with Ron and Brad. The best part: No LINES! because of Ron's "exit pass" (pass given to people with disabilities or disorders that allows them to enter a ride through its exit instead of waiting in line)

Riding on roller-coasters is like taking drugs. (not that I would know what that's like except from what people say). The first time, even a small dose/tame coaster like American Eagle gives you a frightening high. But gradually, you need higher and higher doses/crazier rides to feel the same sensation. Thus I gradually built up my coaster tolerance until even Raging Bull (my favorite ride) was just a fun, little trip, nothing really extreme. However, there was one ride I still couldn't muster up the courage to go on: The Giant Drop. But I did seriously consider it. Maybe I'll try it next time.

After Six Flags we went out for dinner at Ruby Tuesday's. Most of the time I was shivering because I was still quite wet from Roaring Rapids. The dinner conversation wasn't too exciting either (Ron and Brad were discussing sports and girls). But the waiter was cool. I can't beleive he actually tried to help Ron steal a Margerita glass from the restuarant by telling Ron how to avoid getting caught.

Then we went to see "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"...definately one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. And I kind of have a connection to the guy who wrote the script: he's my brother's friend's brother.

Overall, an awesome day.
