**dont read this if you haven't seen the movie yet and are still going to**
so harry potter...
was fairly disappointing.
whoever made the movie clearly did not read the book thoroughly enough to recognize the most important parts of the story. now, i completely understand that 870 pages of content can simply not be put into a 2 and a half hour movie, but they could have done better. i mean, honestly.
for instance :
-they completely left out the story of ron becoming the new quidditch keeper for gryfindor
-cho wasnt the one that ratted out the DA.. it was her friend (who was not even in the movie)
-they totally fucked up the ending (completely and i don't even want to get into it about that)
-there was no second visit to hogwarts for harry and cho
-no interview for the paper that told harry's real story
gyah there are so many more things but i'm too irritated to even think about it right now.
i think i might have to go see the movie again though. just to maybe see if its okay just as a movie, aside from the literary aspect of it. (i was comparing the book and movie the entire time, so most of my mindset about the movie is of how much they left out and not really on whether it was actually a good movie or not.)
