This is the most slack week of the new year. Still adjusting back to school life after a long and not so fulfilling break. Thank God I managed to find group mates for my HR module this week and it really shows the goodness of God's providence. Everyone stays in Simei except for 1, who stays in Katong. Super blessed for this arrangement.
All this idle slack time has made way for some revelations. One being that I'm getting like older this year (like in 5 months time), another would be I'm still stuck being a student, and I still need a vacation badly. Heard from Irvin about his Bali surfing cum bumming trip. Sounds damn exciting and at the same time expensive. Happen to watch Forgetting Sarah Marshall today to kill time and I thought that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to go on a holiday by myself. It could be quite an experience for some, for me at least. You could do away with all considerations and do things at your own pace. Like wake up at anytime, eat at anytime, go surfing, get a massage, drink at the bar and so on. In a nutshell, it's a me, myself and I holiday with no strings attached, sparing only a thought for myself. =)
Crap lah I just wanna go for a getaway dammit! But now's not the time due to expenditure woes and the upcoming piles of school work waiting for me in the months to come. Great with that being said, I'll only get to getaway after the closure of this semester. Praying hard not to get called up for reservist and having enough to spend. Sigh. But for now, ideal getaway options would be Bali, Fishing Kelong, Malacca, Hongkong, Bangkok, Taiwan, Desaru cycling trip, Backpacking trip to Vietnam. That'll be all for now I guess.
Been wanting to visit the museum for reasons being, I haven't been there in the longest time ever, I wanna use up my film and shoot some nice pictures. Maybe I should just stop being lazy and step out of the house to do it. Currently in search of budget and cheap activities to do, that do not require much considerations like cycling. Fishing is another activity. Too bad I ain got mates who actually fish other than on facebook. That serves as my online getaway haha. Need my Dad on this one. I think I better do it fast before the semester gets too busy.
I wanna go iceskating as well. Just that it's morbidly expensive compared to the times when I went when I was in secondary school. Kinda hard to find people who wanna go as well. Sigh I guess I'll have to pray for it or it'll never happen. It's times like this that I feel guilty treating You like a vending machine who never goes out of stock. Really wanna thank You for keeping me sane, for your providence and getting the devil out of my mind when it became a playground for that lowlife.
