Interest meme. Blah. Blah. Blah. If you want I will ask you to explain some of your interests if you respond saying so.

45 grave - Old punk rock band most widely known for being on the Return of the Living Dead soundtrack. They could be described as either punk, goth, or deathrock being one of the early LA punk bands to create the deathrock/goth scene in the late 70's/ early 80's. Wikipedia

deathguild - Deathguild is both a Monday night goth/industrial night in SF and their associated Burning Man theme camp which does Thunderdome. I visited there on my way up from Ok to Seattle and went a couple to times. I loved it and it was one of the reasons I thought I'd be moving back down to SF within a year. At BM, Deathguild has a stranger place in my heart as they are a large village of goth and industrial people on the playa that have been ther forever. However, both from personal experience and tales recounted by friends that have camped with them, they are not the type of people I'd like to camp with. To be fair, they are a large camp, and better described as many camps, each with different people and identity, who don't always get along with eachother. I'm especially disappointed in them with the stunts they pulled this year with my camp, Spike's Vampire Bar, but I still have friends that camp with them and what they do is cool. Website

f/a/v - German industrial band that is one of my favorites. They put out about three albums and then broke up around 2004 AFAIK. Website

kokusyoku sumire - While in Japan the year before last, I went to Tokyo Dark Castle and one of the bands I saw preform was Kokusyoku Sumire. Two little gothic lolita girls who made what Jilli describes as "what you would expect to hear as music if at an amusement park made for goths". I listened to them exclusivly my entire trip and still find a need to play the album every week or two. They have some videos on their website if you're interested, but you can find them via English on YouTube. Website

zillo - Zillo is one of the gothic/industrial music magazines that they have in Germany. I always get copies when I'm there and even have others bring me back some when they go. It usually comes with CDs of new music and is known for their goth comic characters. Website

urban decay - Exactly what it says. I like cities. I like cities that have decayed. It adds age and character. Rusting metal and crumbling concrete are sexy.

pain teens - My favorite band back in the day. A duo from Houston, TX that did experimental music consisting of lots of things like tape loops. Their lead singer was named Bliss Blood which was a plus. I never got a chance to see them as I tried once by going to SXSW and had arranged to take pictures for my punk 'zine and everything but half an hour into the trip to Austin, my transmission blew out. They broke up in '95. Wikipedia
