Yeah. "Ack. No!" was pretty much my response to thinking it up. But then it just all works so very well... meaning so very terribly.

I do not want to write this story!

And yet the plot-bunny insists on lurking in my brain, trying to scare off the happy fun plot-bunny's in which post-horsemen Methos re-discovers his love of white horses by means of a happy, helpful Companion.

Gahk. Methos, who is most certainly NOT sparkly and happy + sparkly magical white horse? Even having those two concepts on the same room is disturbing, much less trying to smush them together. Still, if anyone can pull off Methos as Herald fic, you can.

Aging companions: good point; what happens when a Companion picks an immortal ...

Thanks! And yeah, Methos is not the sparkly happy type. Which makes it either really funny to have a sparkly magical horse stalking him into being a virtuous warrior for good or really depressing to see what happened to a younger happy-sparkly Methos to make him what he is now.
