It was his favorite place to sit in the Common Room. Sometimes he wouldn’t leave that spot all day.
Remus stared fondly at the couch in front of the fireplace. He felt he could almost see Sirius sprawled across the couch, not letting anyone else on.
A sigh escaped Remus. He stepped forward slowly and sat down on the couch: the one place he had never been allowed to sit.
Now the person who had kept him from sitting here was gone. But it didn’t please him. Not in the least.
Remus put his head in his hands… and cried.
