Oh the places I'll go...
I was supposed to go to Turkey by myself back in November. But then my dad died (it still feels weird to say that) three days before I was supposed to leave, so I didn't.
Matt (aka thereject) and I got tickets to Turkey today for April 18 through 28. We have direct flights from DC on Turkish Air, which were somehow both the cheapest and directest tickets available on those dates. After the mostly shitty winter (other than Christmas in Florida, which was nice) I feel better already having something to look forward to.
My original tickets were with Delta, and I also finally finished sorting out the cancellation of those. I now have $619 in credit that I must use on travel by... September 9, I think it is. I can use the credit on a couple of trips, it doesn't have to be just one ticket. Where to go...
