Unexpected afternoon
I went to the dentist today thinking i had 2 non-major problem. Turns out my mouth was secretly a cesspool. they did all the work on the right side, including a deep tartar cleaning, and dealing with, like, 5 cavities. I get to go back on Monday for the deep cleaning on that side, 2 more cavities, and an extraction (i knew the last was coming). I have good dental insurance and this is still going to cost a ton. At least i'm getting miles through my credit card? The dentist mentioned that after all that we may want to put a crown on one tooth and look at invisalign to correct my "open bite." I'm hoping that can wait until my deductible renews itself and i can put money into an HSA.
Totally unrelated, last night i bought tickets to Istanbul. Yes, I'm traveling alone. No, i don't really know where i'm going other than Hagia Sophia and a Turkish bath. I'll keep you posted.
