I love my job, but I am seriously considering looking for work elsewhere.
I made the mistake of becoming the only staff member willing to work any time, simply because I need the money.
They decided to take that and run with it. Now I don't mind working more than one shift in a week. What I do mind is working all three in one week. Unless you have had to do it, you have no idea what they does to your sleep. To give you am idea, this is my schedule for this week.
Sunday: 10pm-6am
Monday: off
Tuesday: 10am-6pm
Wednesday: 2-10pm
Thursday: 10pm-6am
Friday: 10pm-6am
Saturday: off
Sunday: 6am - 2pm
What sucks is this weekend is supposed to be my weekend off and I was planning on an out of town trip. Wonder what happened there.
I'm thinking of just hacking it out for now, but if they keep working me like this, I'm looking for something else with less retarded hours and more pay.
