New Years
Happy New Year!
New Years was good... had a few people over, got a little drunk, and slept in the next day -- can't complain, really. =)
Resolutions? Yeah, a few.
I've now seen every single episode of Alias. Finally completed season five. Happy about Vaughn. Disapointed with the ending. But I'm finally done. Alias was my sort of angsty-guilty-pleasure. And I hate having my emotions tugged by a TV show or a movie or a book. I've had my fill of that in high school and whatnot. But now I think Sarah MacLaughlan's "Dirty Little Secret" will always remind me of Vaughn's death.
Anyway.
Our hotel is going through "optimization," which basically means that they are eliminating some management positions. So, next week, I've got to do an interview that basically will dictate if I get promoted, or if I have to find a new job. So I'm defending my job. What the hell.
