i have never been prouder to be a Singaporean woman and I am glad I had the opportunity to take part in civil society and ensuring that such a space remains secular and pluralistic, separate from religious views. It was really heartening to see the support that other Singaporean women had for the old guards, women from different backgrounds, race and religion, taking a stand and I am glad I was there to witness it.
