7/30 Just when you think its all going well......
Ok its not really that bad. Probably just Friday.
And today was media unpacking day. We placed a bulk order and when it comes, we all rush to get 50 bottles into the freezer.This takes the whole lab together an hour where we all have to stop what we were doing.
One unfortunate side effect is one of the bottles comes at different concentrations everytime. I come back from helping someone one the microscope and there a panic about what the new concentration was. In the process we discover my lab mate had been using the wrong concentration before. Grrr...just when I was feeling good about leaving my work in someone else's hands. Granted this just proves that you don't have to be good at math to get a PhD. Trust me, I'm not so good either.
