Looks like things are going to work out, but not necessarily like I thought.
And amazingly, the idea came from my boss. heh. The Lord definitely works in mysterious ways.
Basically, I'm going to keep working there, but to replace someone who's going on a 6-8 week short term leave for surgery. I'll be doing his job, and NOT mine. So hopefully things won't suck.
