For some reason I've been watching Merlin completely out of order...
...which is how come I'd never seen the episode with the poisoned chalice before (well, you know, the first episode involving a poisoned chalice; that sort of thing seems to be a bit of a recurring theme...) but you'd think, having seen most of the rest of the series, that I'd have been somewhat prepared for, you know, the sheer dodginess of Merlin, all sweaty and writhing in his bed, calling Arthur's name and shouting, "Faster! Faster!"

I'd ask if no one involved thought that was the least bit dodgy, but, having seen most of the rest of the show, I'd venture a guess that, yes, they probably knew exactly how dodgy that was. OH SHOW, I CAN'T DECIDE IF YOU ARE SLASHY CRACK OR CRACKY SLASH OR WHAT.
