Now that's a bottle episode. Doctor Who hasn't done a real bottle episode since "The Edge of Destruction", have they? (I think there was an episode of "Mind Robber" that may have been only two sets, I can't remember.) I missed Donna, but the super-cute banter at the beginning was LOVE. They are so cute together, and I would gleefully watch an episode just of them going shopping on an alien planet. You know it would be awesome.
"I had a friend who went to another universe." Rose reference or ROMANA REFERENCE? I KNOW WHICH BRAND OF BATSHIT I PREFER.
Oh hey there, Medusa Cascade! *drinks*
The moment when Sky is suddenly ahead of the Doctor? SHIVERS.
OH TENNANT WHY DO YOU KILL ME SO? Seriously, is there anything scarier than the Doctor being completely powerless? Tennant fucking ROCKED that scene. So much that I was just sitting on the floor with my mouth open. WANT CAPS OF THAT. NOW PLEASE.
(Watching the Confidential now and they keep going on about the Deadly Assassin. Tennant is geeking out and it is fucking adorable. But C'mon! Talk about the Edge of Destruction!)
.....AAAAAAND another person sacrificing themselves for the Doctor. DRINK.
That was really, really creepy and well done. I like ones where you don't ever see the monster. SO much more scary that way. I felt like the episode was over, in, like, twenty minutes, though. It felt really short.
