Hundreds of hours of previously believed lost British drama broadcast between 1957 and 1970 has been found in WNET's archive collection at the Library of Congress. According to
this list of the recovered dramas, amongst these are the ITV/Rediffusion Play of the Week The Typewriter (1962) and Theatre 625's The Queen and the Welshman (1966), both featuring Jeremy Brett.
Also on the list: ITV Play of the Week's Freedom in September (1962) with Patrick Troughton, and the BBC's 1959 broadcast of Antigone with Dorothy Tutin and a 26-year old David McCallum.
HOW EXCITING IS THIS.
